Hawk PI’s Investigation Reclaims a Child’s Beloved Pet
A client approached Hawk PI to help locate a missing dog, but this case was about more than just a lost pet. It involved a dog stolen from a child by her own father! When the father moved out of the marital residence, he took only his clothing and the family dog. During divorce proceedings, he repeatedly lied to the court, denying possession of the dog and even claiming at one point that the dog had passed away.
Hawk PI’s investigation revealed that the dog was very much alive and in the ex-husband’s custody. The evidence we provided allowed the client to file contempt charges, resulting in the ex-husband’s arrest for contempt of court.
While Hawk PI doesn’t always know the final outcome of court cases or how our investigations impact the process, the case manager on this matter felt a personal connection—she has a young child and pets at home. She stayed in touch with the client after our investigation concluded, and the client was delighted to report that, thanks to Hawk PI’s evidence, the court ordered the ex-husband to return the dog. The child was overjoyed to be reunited with her loyal companion at home.
